May 29…Memorial Day Observance. A brief and informal Memorial Day observance at Fort Mackinac Post Cemetery on Mackinac Island, to pay tribute to the soldiers who served at Fort Mackinac. Racers are guaranteed to get dirty, so bringing a change of clothes is always a good idea OR you can choose to wear your dirt with pride. If you're feeling particularly crazy, wear a wild costume or have a fun theme for your crew. There will be prizes for overall speed, best costumes, Dirtiest Dog, Spirit of the Dog and more.
